Well it has been a while since my last blog. I now am back from Hawaii. Back to reality. Still its nice to be back with the family. Its nice to finally make some deposits in my bank account instead of only withdrawls. hahaha. But I want to write a little something now looking back at what this last summer was......it was a dream. I think I annoy everyone around me telling stories about this last summer. Have you ever seen one of those movies about an amazing summer of friends, beaches, adventure, romance, fun and excitement. THAT WAS THIS SUMMER. Honestly a dream! It also came at a great time in my life. Coming home from the mission was hard. You feel out of place, you feel uncomfortable, you feel like everything in your life has changed and you have to find a new niche in life. Going to Hawaii was the perfect remedy. See in Hawaii they believe in the Aloha spirit. Aloha means, Hello, Goodbye, and I love you. It really can be seen in the friendly loving and accepting feeling that permeates the Island. It was like Hawaii took me in and gave me a big hug. It helped me to feel comfortable again, it was like I readjusted there. I feel like I am back to myself again. I have found my niche again. I want to thank my Mom and Dad for getting me there and encouraging me in everything. They are perfect parents for me and made this time possible for me by paying for school and the plane ticket. Still, the friends and the memories are so priceless to me. As I look back on it I often think to myself, "wow I really did it, I did what everyone dreams of". Actually I feel kinda bad talking about it because not everyone get the chance at things like this. I guess its something personal, something I should keep to remember in the hard times. I will never forget my perfect summer. To try and describe it is in vain. friendship, fun, surf, love, adventure,.....ect....ect...ect........................................A DREAM
Now on to the next chapter of the story of my life!

Well done Ernst! Well done indeed! But I'm going to let you in on a bit of a secret... you see, being the genius that I am with a natural knack for keen-eyed and subtle observation, I have discovered that there are two types of people in this world: those who are a bit grumpy (me) and those who have dream summers ever summer, who have fun no matter what, who have great attitudes and elevate those around them and glean the good from life (you, Tyler). Seeing that you are obviously not of the former type, I'm not surprised your summer turned out the way it did. You see, it's not the summer, the location, the group, or any factor that makes the dream come true, that my friend, is you. (Did I mention my natural poet skillage?)
And did I mention 'well done Ernst'!? Good show indeed!
You feel "kinda BAD"?? HAHAHA! Lets be totally honest here-not all your "adventures" were a "dream" to those you "shared" them with. You did create some NIGHTMARES with your selfish actions that you so easily justified! HAHAHA - you even have fritz believing that your noble! So "remember in the hard times" something else --- "What goes around, comes around!" cuz you got some comin back to you!
No doubt youll delete this "comment" but your conscience will not easily forget.

jake you are the man. this post did a great job of capturing what this last summer was, at least for the half that I was there. coming home from the mish is hard and hawaii helped me too! we will hang this semester!

hey nonymo-A - why don't u quit trying to play high n mighty like it's ur place to judge. u've obviously got offended and what? it makes u feel better taking it out on other people? I'm so sorry if your feelings are/were hurt. I can feel your pain through your comments.
But honestly, take it from me sister...ranting like a lunatic on someone's blog is one notch above driving across the country wearing a diaper so you can avoid restroom breaks while on the way to kill the man-of- your-dream's girlfriend (not sure if you caught that on the news a while back...)
If this is a guy. I'm sorry you've got a thing for my brother too. I just don't think he plays for your team.
